Volunteer Positions Available 



The World Heritage Air Museum is the largest flying jet warbird museum in the world, based in Pontiac and Detroit Michigan.   We rescue, restore, and return to flight classic jet warbirds from the 50s, 60s, and 70s, and demonstrate them at airshows across the Midwest. 

Our aircraft include:
Flying:

  • Temco TT-1 Super Pinto

  • de Havilland DH115 Vampire

  • Aero Vodochody L29 (2)

  • Aero Vodochody L39

  • Fouga Magister CM170

  • Hispano Saeta HA200 (2)

  • Nanchang CJ6 


In Restoration:

  • Mikoyan Gurevich MiG-15 UTI (2)

  • Mikoyan Gurevich MiG-17A

  • de Havilland DH112 Venom (2)

  • PLZ TS-11 Iskra 


Currently we are looking for volunteers with a passion for classic warbirds. There are positions available in Marketing, Aircraft Restoration and Maintenance, as well as as Docents and Pilots.
